Oh Tarte, I love you so!

I have been using Tarte for over 5 years now, they are always coming out with new products and are all natural and cruelty free! They have something for everyone! Acne prone, dry, oily, or combination skin, Tarte has got you covered. They truly are an amazing brand.

1.Amazonian Clay Foundation(Light Sand)

"An oil-free, 12-hour liquid foundation formulated with Amazonian clay and non-chemical sunscreen filters." 

I really like this foundation, it is more on the mousey side but the color matches me really well and feels great on my skin! also having 15spf is always a plus:) I wore this with Tartegaurd underneath and it lasted a good 7 hours! No primer.

2.Tartegaurd Sunscreen Lotion

"tarte’s first ever, non-chemical sunscreen to help protect, moisturize, brighten and re-invigorate skin for a youthful-looking appearance."

I use this every single day! Whether I wear it under my makeup(great primer and lotion all in one) or just bare faced it is always nice to know your skin is protected. It also leaves my face feeling amazing, it is a little oily so I would not recommend for oily skin.

3. Lights, Camera, Splashes Mascara

Oh.my.goodness. I love this mascara, I have asian eyes so mascara ALWAYS smudges, but this stuff does not even budge on my eyes. It also holds a curl VERY well. I highly recommend this mascara!

4. Quench Lip Rescue(All of Them ^.^)

"A moisturizing lip balm in an array of sheer color shades"

These came in a double sample back with Drench Lip Splash Lipstick. I love this lip balm, it has a minty smell and leaves my lips feeling oh so good and hydrated, it glides on and isn't sticky at all. The color is not too pigmented and leaves a sheer, subtle and beautiful feeling finish.

5. Drench Lip Splash Lipstick(Cabana Boy)

"A full coverage matte lipstick with lip-loving™ antioxidants."

I got the color in "Cabana Boy" it is such a beautiful color. The formula is great too, it is matte yet moisturizing! I definitely recommend trying it out!

Boxycharm March Update/Reviews

This month I received a few items from Boxycharm I really ended up liking, and one I just did not like at all(click here to see what I received in my box, or continue reading)

I have used all these products for over a couple weeks now (except for one) so I can get a clear idea of how well these products work,so let's begin.. 
(in order from my favorite to least favorite-click the title to be brought to the product page) 

1.Makeup Geek Shimmer & Matte Eyeshadow
$6.00 each

I received my sample in the color "Cupcake" and "Shimma Shimma" the pigmentation in these are absolutely amazing and with the colors I received I can use  them as a highlight and a blush too(bonus!) They are so soft and the colors last great with the right primer. Makeup Geek is a new favorite of mine. Sorry MAC you have been replaced...

2. Luxie Beauty 512 Small Contour Brush
$16.00 

This brush is actually my go-to contour brush right now, it is perfect size to get the perfect contour in your cheeks and great for highlighting! The brush itself is very soft and seems pretty high quality. It is also 100% vegan, cruelty free, and paraben free.

3. Clark's Botanticals Anti-Puff Eye Cream
$87.00

I've never been one to use eye creams, just because I'm lazy(hehe), but when I saw this retailed at $87.00, I had to see if it was any good. Says it has vitamin E, A, and K. Well, it's definitely not worth paying $87.00 for, but I personally find it very soothing. I apply it under my eyes at night and I have noticed I look more awake with less dark circles in the morning. I don't think I would re-buy this, but I will definitely continue to use.

4. Catherine Malandrino Style De Paris Perfume

I'm not a big fan of perfume at all, and honestly I die a little inside each time I open a subscription box and there is a perfume sample in there. This perfume though is actually not too bad, it smells very fruity, which is where I tend to lean towards if and when I wear perfume. Compared to the RealTree Perfrume they sent me in last months box(smelled like my grandma) I would choose this one over it any day. It smells of citrus-tropical fruits,I like it.

5. Chella Tantalizing Taupe Eyebrow Pencil
$18.00

Okay so I did not end up liking this product at all. First impressions was the pencil seemed cheap, the pencil itself felt loose in the plastic tube and the plastic felt really thin and fragile. I used this instead of my ABH brow wiz and after about half an hour I noticed myself scratching at my eyebrows because they were so itchy. Unfortunately I did not try re-using after this because it was pretty irritating on my brows. I personally would pass on this one, but I have heard other reviewers rave about it. I think this is something you have to try out for yourself.

BoxyCharm March 2016[SPOILERS]

I love these lashes! they look super natural yet dramatic, perfect for all day or a night out! They also come with glue, so for two dollars, that's a steal!                              

Eyebrow Kit $3.00

This eyebrow kit is a holy grail, if you are on a budget, or even if you just want a good eyebrow kit, this is a great one to choose!

Acne Fighting Foundation $6.00

If you have acne, or are afraid of breakouts this foundation is a good one, I use this when I am having a break out, the coverage is medium, but is very build-able!

Lip Exfoliator $3.00

I LOOVE this product! My goodness I have gone through probably 100 of these babies, they are so handy and exfoliate your lips so well! Also the shape makes it super easy to use! They have three different flavors, but oatmeal is my fave.

Baked Eyeshadow Trio $4.00

This eye shadow is beautiful, the color is really soft and pigmented, love the shimmer it gives, highly recommend trying this one out!
